Obama’s Call for Community Service!
We do not need the Messiah telling us how to contribute to our community !. Exactly how has his life been a model of self sacrifice and contribution? So far all we know is he associates with terrorists and other questionable people and that his beliefs about community organizing are ALL about furthering his political ambition. Show me one example of how he has personally EVER helped anyone!! We know you cannot because this guy is a total hypocrite!!

You know he'd just cite his community agitator days as public service, because he went there instead of becoming an "evil corporate lawyer" or something.
Of course the problem is he's not calling for people to voluntarily volunteer, but to be compelled to do so.
True, he did not become an "evil corporate lawyer," mostly because no corporation would have had him and his non-capitalistic ideas, but instead became an "evil community 'organizer'."

we have DFS coming to the house b/c we are going to foster kids....
so...
couldn't get away with NOT doing it..
but otherwise.. we would not have done it...
Before you shoot of your uninformed mouth, you should do your homework.
There are many instances of how President-elect Obama has helped his community and individuals.
Apparently, your either too lazy to do the research or it's too difficult for someone with limited abilities.
Anyway, I don't have to defend Mr. Obama. A huge majority of Americans agree that he is an outstanding individual with talent and compassion for his fellow man.
Something, it appears, you have no knowledge of.
But, my poor misinformed and misguided friend, that's to your shame, not his.
Your incessant carping and lies about Obama reeks of sour grapes.
There's a reason the Republicans lost in November.
