"A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul."

I've had a terrible sick feeling in the pit of my stomach for weeks now about all of this and I wake up at night with this on my mind. Anxiety and insomnia are my constant companions and I haven't been able to overcome them for all the reasons put forth in this article. I keep telling myself that maybe Obama and his minions aren't as awful as I think they are and that their policies and politics won't be as destructive as depicted in my nightmares, but that niggling worry and anxiety remain. I know a couple who moved to the U.S. recently from Venezuela to get away from the anarchy and the policies of Hugo Chavez...and I worry that we will soon be living the Venezuelan experience, but we will have no place else to go. Vote, folks, as if your very way of life depends on it, because it does

Put these quotes side by side and you'll see what scary really is:

"When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." - Barack Obama

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." - Karl Marx

What troubles me is the combination possibility of Obama, Reid, and Nancy running the show. I, too, have been trying to ease my mind that us right-wingers are just too paranoid, and an Obama presidency will still remain an American presidency, and we'll survive it. I keep looking at his good qualities, but can't get past everything that is wrong about him.

He is undeserving; and I can't bear conceding bragging rights to all those smug, over-confident Obama supporters with their silly bumperstickers and t-shirts.

There are just so many things about Obama and his policies that scare me. Socialized healthcare, Wealth distribution, Iraq, I could go on all day.

I try that too, but it just doesn't work. I guess we are just too aware of all the repurcussions that can happen with an Obama presidency.

Good comparison Patrick, reminds me of this one from Hillary Clinton: We'll take your money for 'common good'

We all get it bright and clear here, the left simply doesn't and I hope and pray the bloggers have made a diff getting out the word the MSM wouldn't.

I think we have and a big shock is coming on November 4th, bet on it.

Thanks for the "add" Love and I've returned the favor :) PS Hi Jennifer

NOBAMA is extremely scary, but this is worse. Picture this, NOBAMA wins and is then assassinated 30 days later. Biden takes his place and has a nervous breakdown the following morning at 3:00 AM when the phone rings. Nancy Pelosi is then sworn in. Now THAT'S SCARY!!

Sleep well, NOBAMA is not going to win. I can't tell you how many elections had the person ahead in the polls lose at the last minute.

I am more worried about the Senate going much further to the left. McCain won't be able to accomplish much with 60 senators.

Nice blog you have here. Welcome to the blogosphere, and thanks for the visit.
