But I do begrudge the Obamas for their double standards when it comes to the flaunting of wealth -- and the earning of it. The Obamas have devoted much of their public lives to reviling others who elect to make money in the private marketplace.

Michelle goes straight to the heart of this hypocrisy. Remember when MO was urging young people "not to go into corporate America," but to become teachers or nurses or social workers (most of whom probably don't wear $540 tennis shoes)? Is this not a case of flaming hypocrisy .
